Step 3: Prepare and complete documents GT Law supports drafting, collecting and completing all documents as required by law.

Step 4: Submit application and track progress GT Law represents the submission of documents to the competent authority, monitors and updates the status of document processing.

Step 5: On-site assessment (if any) Support the facility in preparing and coordinating with the appraisal team during the actual inspection.

Important notes on Food Safety Eligibility Certificate:

  • Validity period: The certificate is valid for 03 years from the date of issue.
  • Reissue/Renew: Before 06 months from the date of expiration of the Certificate, the enterprise must submit a re-issuance application if it wants to continue operating. The application and re-issuance procedure are similar to the first issuance.
  • Penalties for violations: Facilities that are required to have a Certificate but do not have one or have one that has expired may be fined from VND 20,000,000 to VND 30,000,000 (according to Article 18 of Decree 115/2018/ND-CP). Serious violations may be criminalized.
