Subject conditions
The entity granted a Yoga activity license is an enterprise (company) or individual business household that has registered a business line related to sports, specifically yoga services.
Facilities
Pursuant to Circular 11/2016/TT-BVHTTDL, yoga centers must meet:
- Practice floor: Must be flat and non-slip.
- Ceiling height: The distance from the exercise floor to the ceiling is not less than 2.7m.
- Space & light: The practice space is airy, with light from 150 lux or more.
- Amenities area: There are toilets, changing rooms, and places to store personal belongings for practitioners; there are medicine cabinets and first aid equipment.
- Rules: There is a regulation board that stipulates the following main contents: training hours, training participants, participants who are not allowed to participate in training, training attire, safety measures during training and other regulations.
- Fire prevention and fighting (PCCC): For centers in commercial areas, apartments, entertainment areas, hotels, resorts or homestays, valid fire safety records are required (fire safety inspection report, fire safety design approval certificate, fire safety minutes/decision).
Equipment conditions
- Make sure each person has a personal mat or large mat on the floor.
- For Yoga fly: Silk hammock (rope) can withstand at least 300 kg of gravity, installed on a suspension system that can ensure safety. The length of the rope can be adjusted.
- Exercise aids must be safe and not dangerous to the practitioner.
Personnel conditions
The training instructor (coach) must meet one of the following conditions:
- Be a Yoga instructor or athlete with a level 2 or higher qualification or equivalent.
- Have a degree in physical education, sports, Yoga from intermediate level or higher.
- Have a professional training certificate issued by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training or the Vietnam Yoga Federation.
- For medical staff (if any): have a degree from a medical college or higher.
- Each trainer is only allowed to instruct a maximum of 30 students in one lesson.
