- Proper name: Written in Vietnamese letters, F, J, Z, W, numbers and legal symbols. This proper name is the element that creates the difference and brand recognition in the market.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

<\/span>Prohibitions When Naming a Business<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\nCases prohibited by law when naming a business include:<\/span><\/p>\na) Identical or Confusing with Registered Name<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n- The name is completely identical to the Vietnamese name of another business registered nationwide.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Confusing names, such as: names that sound similar to existing business names, names that differ only in characters, symbols, serial numbers, place names or business types.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
b) Use of Restricted Names and Words<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n- The names of state agencies, armed forces units, socio-political organizations, social organizations, etc. may not be used as the whole or part of an enterprise name, unless there is written consent from that unit.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Do not use words or symbols that violate historical traditions, culture, ethics, and customs.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Do not use a protected trade name, trademark or geographical indication unless the owner of the trademark or geographical indication has given written consent.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
